Having a huge variety of brands in the one place when shopping for your winter essentials can be both convenient and confusing, as it may be difficult to determine where to begin. When compiling a winter wardrobe, it is important to choose versatile pieces that work well both together, and when mix and matched with your existing wardrobe, and can be worn for a multitude of occasions.
The neutral colour scheme is one that works really well for winter, and is a refreshing change from the darker, heavier colours, usually seen in fashion around this time. It is great for mixing and matching as it looks great with all your blacks, whites and greys, as well as all of the colours in your wardrobe.
Pops of colour, or pattern, like the leopard print patterns featured here, are a great way to add a bit of excitement and interest to the neutral tones. Try a bag, a shoe or a scarf and surprise yourself with how versatile it actually can be.
Try layering a leopard print scarf, such as the Milana one pictured, with a plain nude and beige colour top, like the Perri Cutten one below. If you would like to learn an easy way to tie a scarf please click on the video I have prepared for you. It is a fantastic way to make a scarf look slim around your neck and a guarantee it will stay in place.
Invest in a beige coloured coat (such as the Ted Baker one in the image), and wear it all winter long. Choosing a beige coat, means that it will stay in style for many seasons, and you will be able to wear it over all of your separates and dresses.
Try teaming beige with maroon, khaki and tan, for some interesting combinations, that will ensure you are on trend all winter!
