I was so inspired by Angela’s choices that I had Angela come back a week later for a wardrobe makeover, which was great! Firstly Angela came to my home for a style and colour consultation. From the moment we started I knew I was onto something good! After all these years of wearing the same style of clothes and the same types of colours, my eyes have been completely opened as to what looks good on me and what doesn’t. I think of all the money I have wasted over the years on clothes that have never been worn and just sit in my wardrobe. “I have just received the pack which I ordered from my Red Balloon voucher and downloaded my Fashion Styling Online Profile. It was so informative and so interesting that I sat went through the whole thing which took over 2 hours on my computer. One thing that I noticed was how similar my own clothing style selections were to those recommended on this program. Now I know where I went wrong, not with the styles I used to choose, but with the colors!! All the ‘great, good, and good only if,’ seemed to match all my clothing selections, and it was good to know that I seem to select clothing items which complement my size and body shape. “The “Workshop on How to dress Right for Your Body Type” was really great for me. I went home and re-looked at my entire wardrobe and saw it in a different light. I also re-looked at my body through your eyes and now don’t see this gross waistline. I now have a much better idea about lines and shapes. I sat having coffee at the shopping center and categorized people into triangles, inverted triangles, rectangles, squares and hour glass. It was quite instructive. I can look in the mirror and see the hour glass shape and have a better idea about how to make my waistline appear thinner by the use of lines and shapes. I threw out some clothes that did not have shape. I had bought these thinking this was a way to hide my waist but now I see that fallacy. I went shopping (only to look) and as you said saw things I had previously looked past so I did see things in my colours and lots of things with vertical lines around the waistline. So I am feeling pretty good about myself and hope I can get a first date in over 10 years!!!”

“Over the past two years I had been focused on completing my MBA and as such had let my fashion sense dwindle into what could only be termed as “no idea”. Like most guys the thought of shopping for clothes didn’t exactly rate as one of my all time favorite past times. My wardrobe was a relic two years out of date and this reflected poorly on my dress style. Coming up to the completion of my last subject I decided it was time to get some expert guidance to lift my game in this department. Enter Angela stage right.
I was unsure what to expect, but from the first minute Angela started to do her thing I new I had the right person for the job. Angela came to my house and reviewed my current set of clothes and shoes, setting out what worked and what needed replacement. We then went shopping to update my wardrobe and this was an experience I’ll never forget.
From the moment we entered each shop Angela took charge ensuring I had the full attention of the sales assistants, directing their efforts and ensuring what they suggested was actually right for me. It was an incredible three hours going from shop to shop and knowing you had a professional stylist to guide you. At the start I wasn’t sure if the three hours was going to be enough time to get the clothes I needed. Once we started, however, I observed the efficiency with which Angela operated. It was truly impressive how many shops and clothes we worked through in order to get just the right look.
Throughout the whole experience Angela provided valuable advice on what to look for, where to look for it and what worked for me. Not only did she succeed in getting my style back on track she also taught me how to maintain that style in the future. “
