Angela Barbagallo is the founder of Style Angel and a Sydney personal stylist with more than 25 years of experience helping people understand the colours, clothing and styles that suit them.
She specialises in personal styling, colour analysis, body shape styling, personal shopping and wardrobe styling, taking a practical and personalised approach that helps clients feel more confident in what they wear.
Rather than focusing on trends or telling clients what they should wear, Angela helps people understand why particular colours, shapes and clothing combinations work for them. Her aim is to give clients the knowledge and practical tools to make confident style and shopping decisions for themselves.
More Than 25 Years of Styling Experience
Angela began her personal styling career in 2001, after helping several friends with personal shopping and discovering how much she enjoyed the process.
A chance meeting with the Marketing Manager of RedBalloon, then a small and growing business, led to Angela becoming the first personal stylist featured on its website. Her personal shopping sessions were offered as an experience to customers across Sydney.
Wanting to expand the support she could offer her clients, Angela trained in colour and body shape analysis in 2008.
Her colour and style analysis experience was subsequently offered through RedBalloon across Australia in a virtual format.
From 2011 to 2017, Angela was the NSW Stylist for Diana Ferrari, providing in-store styling sessions to more than 500 clients across New South Wales.
Across her 25-year career, Angela's experience has also included one-to-one styling consultations, group styling sessions, corporate workshops and styling presentations.
Angela is the author of 8 Ways to Look Fabulous, Taller and Slimmer by Dressing the Best for Your Body Shape and co-author of The Real Woman's Guide to Hair with Penny Martin.
