Diva Accessories has been kind enough to lend me a few pieces from their '09 Winter collection for my upcoming Workshops and Styling bookings.
It is a great idea to set aside at least 30% of your budget just for accessories which can range from the pieces below to tights, bags, shoes etc etc. You will make use of the basics in your wardrobe and really get a mix and match happen!
Just great to play with all the different colours and I wanted to share a few of the pieces with you to talk about Colours that would enhance your hair, skin and eyes, Shapes that work for your face and body shape.
This necklace is great for an Oblong Face Shape and best on Cooler Colour Seasons with any shade of Blue, Grey, Coffee, Deep camel, Warm Brown and Jet Black in their eyes. This colour accessory will look great on Medium to Dark Brown and Brown/Black Hair.
Sorry about the quality of the image but you get the idea, great for ladies who are overweight as it will elongate your body yet keep the attention upward. Great for Round and Square face shapes as well Rectangle and Oblong as it has a smaller rounded style to break the long vertical lines.
The colour is black and purple which is great for cooler colour seasons.
The green necklace is great for most face shapes but since the colours are fairly warm I would advise this one for warmer Autumn colour seasons like Nicole, Cynthia and Sarah above.
This rounded necklace in shiny silver and black is only recommended for Winter Colour Seasons who have black as one of their best colours and can pull the shine off.
This one just works great for any colour season as it has so many different colours. I tried this yesterday on a charcoal jumper and it looked great as well as on a brown jumper.
This round necklace works well for a Summer or Winter Cool seasons and of course longer face shapes because of the rounded shape of the necklace.
These rings are of course a personal taste but I love the look of the 2nd cream one and the black ones obvious suit the Winter seasons best. make sure that the rings stay harmonious with your scale (size of your bones, weight and proportions) so it looks great on you. A great detail if you don't feel like a bangle or bracelet.
