Vera Karpowicz, Executive Assistant, Burwood Council booked a Workshop for the Burwood Council Executive Assistants
“Burwood Council recently commenced an exciting staff project called Our Burwood – Journey to Success. As part of this program, I was given the task of finding a stylist to put together a package for our Personal Assistants to motivate them in dressing professionally.
I emailed three organizations off the internet – Angela Barbagallo being one of those three. Angela was the only person who rang me to ask what we were specifically looking for. We spent time on the phone and she prepared a tailored package according to our needs. This package included a general overview aimed at females as well as a personalized packages put together for each PA according to her size, shape and needs.
Angela was extremely helpful, professional and very patient. She knew exactly what our needs were and the packages presented were of high quality, well thought through and a lot of effort has been put into each one.
Finally, Burwood Council will be looking at other programs that Angela has to offer over the next couple of months that appeal to the male and female in improving their business and social success. I will be more than happy to speak to you in recommending Angela.”
Rosemary from Regentville booked a Style and Colour Workshop for her girlfriends
“I had a great time and I went straight out shopping after everyone had gone to test the rules. It’s going to take practice but I’m up for it!
We all thought the way you directed the session and kept it all flowing was wonderful. Initially we had concerns that there wouldn’t be enough time for 6 of us to each get enough out of the 3 1/2 hours. But as you said you learn from each other and about each other.
The group session is a great introduction to the services you provide and does leave you wanting more. Thank you very much I really enjoyed the day.”
Margaret from Telopea attended a Style and Colour Workshop with her girlfriends
“Thank you for all your hard work you put into the seminar last Friday. The course was fun as well as providing a whole new approach to choosing clothes.
Armed with the information I learnt, I was able to review my entire wardrobe. And now have a much greater understanding why certain designs of clothes do not suit me. What styles are better suited to my body shape and also how to wear some of my existing clothes differently to create a better effect.
I probably have a lot more to learn but it was a great start!”
Linda from Marsfield attended a Style and Colour Workshop with her girlfriends
“Yesterday, I went home and re-looked at my entire wardrobe and saw it in a different light. I also re-looked at my body through your eyes and now don’t see this gross waistline.
Also, I now have a much better idea about lines and shapes. I sat having coffee at the shopping center and categorized people into triangles, inverted triangles, rectangles, squares and hour glass. It was quite instructive.
I can look in the mirror and see the hour glass shape and have a better idea about how to make my waistline appear thinner by the use of lines and shapes.
And I threw out some clothes that did not have shape. I had bought these thinking this was a way to hide my waist but now I see that fallacy.
Today I went shopping (only to look) and as you said saw things I had previously looked past so I did see things in my colours and lots of things with vertical lines around the waistline. So I am feeling pretty good about myself and hope I can get a first date in over 10 years!!!”
“I was feeling drab and frumpy before I met Angela eight years ago. She helped me create myself and build self-esteem, which changed my life in many ways.”
“Just wanted to say thank you for the really enjoyable and informative workshops that I attended. I feel I have learnt so many do’s and don’ts. I really enjoyed your company and the company of the other girls.”
“We all had another great night. What a surprise being given the Nancy Ganz shape wear, that was definitely a bonus and very much appreciated!
“Sincere thanks to you, bras and underwear and generally not a lover of shopping. Not any more. I like the idea of being able to hide some of those bumps. Again, thank you, and please put me on your mailing list for any future ‘Secret Women’s Business’ evenings.”
